The adventure began in first grade today. Students had so much fun and were so engaged with Dash and Dot! Today's lesson was an introduction and opportunity for students to get to know the vocabulary we will be using in this unit. After a quick demonstration, resulting in "wows and giggles", I grouped students into 4 groups.
Groups 1 and 2 worked with partners on labeling diagrams of Dash and Dot at their tables.
Groups 3 and 4 worked with the Path and Go apps in small groups to get to know some of the features of the robots.
After 7 minutes we switched so that each student labeled one diagram and had an opportunity to work with the Dot and Dash App.
